Seafood Dinner Series at the Aquarium
Want to make great seafood choices for both your palate and the Earth—but not sure how? Ready to incorporate seasonal and local food choices into your cooking? Or just love to watch cooking shows? This is the evening for you. Let the Aquarium show you how to put together the perfect Earth-friendly seafood meal. In April join special guest Chef Peter Davis of Henrietta’s Table while he highlights farm-raised shrimp, wild-caught sablefish and farm-raised Arctic char.

Joslin's 4th Annual "A Spoonful of Ginger"
Leading area chefs representing both Asian and American cuisine combine their talents at the 4th Annual "A Spoonful of Ginger" food tasting to benefit Joslin Diabetes Center's Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI). Boston's best Asian chefs, along with many popular Boston restaurateurs, will join together to raise money and increase awareness of the growing incidence of diabetes among Asian Americans. Ming Tsai (Blue Ginger), Joanne Chang (Flour Bakery & Café), Lydia Shire (Locke Ober), Bik-Fung Ng (Cambridge School of Culinary Arts), Vinod Kapoor (Bombay Club), Neatte and Nadsa de Monteiro (Elephant Walk), Yasu Hashino (Yasu), Surinder Singh & Yodwinder Pabla (Mantra) and others have gathered to support the work of Joslin's AADI and to honor the "A Spoonful of Ginger's" founder, Jasper White (Summer Shack restaurants). All proceeds will benefit Joslin Diabetes Center's Asian American Diabetes Initiative.

Join Upstairs on the Square in welcoming the Abundance Vineyards, a family-owned and -operated boutique winery. Abundance began as a custom crush boutique winery, first sprouting in the Sonoma area and now firmly planted with permanent roots in Lodi. There is not a vine on their land that hasn't been planted personally by the owners, the Mencarini family. They live by the philosophy of good friends, good food and good wine bring about an abundantly good time! And don't we agree we can't wait to have an abundantly good time with second generation winemaker Dino Mencarini!

Benefit Dinner hosted by The Elephant Walk in Cambridge
Enjoy award-winning cuisine at the The Elephant Walk Restaurant in Cambridge and help celebrate the Cambodian New Year. Chianti Wine Dinner: The Panzanellos Visit
Upstairs on the Square will be visiting the great Chianti district of Tuscany featuring wines from the ancient Panzanello Vineyard (which has been making Chianti and pressing olive oil on their farm since 1427!). They will taste not only their acclaimed Chianti Classicos but also their Il Bianco, which mixes Sauvignon and Grillo grapes to produce a delightful and aromatic Italian white. Of course, the menu will be all Tuscan!

Violet Grgich Presents Great Wines from Grgich Hills Cellar
Mike Grgich, acknowledged as one of the finest winemakers in the world ever since his Chateau Montelena beat all those fancy French chardonnays in Paris in 1976, has a talented daughter Violet that he’s taught his secrets to in the 30 years of winemaking at his prestigious Grgich Hills Cellars. Upstairs is honored to have Violet Grgich taste on Grgich Hill’s spectacular estate grown wines. Steven Brand will pull out all the stops for this great five-course wine dinner.
