We gave this osteria our family name, as it was our intent to create a place where every guest would feel perfectly at home: a place of comfort, friendship and superb food.

Old as its streets may be, our Downtown Crossing neighborhood has become Boston's newest (and hottest!) residential area, and so you'll find our style unapologetically modern. But the operative word is neighborhood, and BiNA is a place of neighborly hospitality - a true osteria nestled in the Ritz Carlton Residences. For those visiting from elsewhere, we trust you'll want to be with us as often as you can.

At BiNA, we combine classic Italian cooking techniques with a fresh, contemporary regard for flavors and presentation. BiNA's simple elegance is welcoming, the airy space combining modern design with old-world charm. The osteria is connected to BiNA alimentari, a European-style gourmet store offering specialty foods as well as housemade breads, pastas, gelati, prepared foods and pastries, and a superior selection of artisanal wines. Co-proprietors Babak Bina and Azita Bina-Seibel have been a part of Boston's restaurant scene for nearly 30 years. Babak founded several local non-profits including Tremont Street Business Association and Taste of Beacon Hill. Azita has been recognized as one of the top chefs in the US, including being named one of Boston's Top Five Young Chefs by Food & Wine. Together they also own and operate the renowned establishments Lala Rokh and Bin 26 Enoteca.
