Under the glow of a Cambridge landmark and in the heart of Harvard Square, Nubar restaurant and lounge opens at the Sheraton Commander Hotel. The space was transformed into a chic neighborhood hangout, servicing locals and out of town guests alike, while emphasizing a comfortable bar and dining experience. Named after the hotel's owner Edward Nubar Guleserian, Nubar will honor a tradition of casual elegance, hospitality and charm.
The food at Nubar reflects its surrounding neighborhood: smart, seasonal and approachable. Nubar serves elegant comfort food with a modern approach applied to classic dishes. In the lounge area,
appetizers will be offered for relaxed sharing. Executive Chef Tom Connaughton and Chef de Cuisine Bill Flumerfelt aim to work with local and sustainable vendors, fishermen, farms and neighborhood bakeries that enrich the Boston and Cambridge culinary community.
